Argentina can re-enter EU market with organic citrus after 20 years
After a 20-year hiatus, organic citrus from Argentina will be allowed to re-enter the European Union, the National Agency for Agro-Food Hygiene and Quality Service announced this week. Under a market access agreement, the European Union has agreed to allow the use of sodium bicarbonate as a post-harvest treatment for organic citrus exports.
