Cyprus has paid compensation to farmers and producer groups affected by severe drought, as confirmed by the Agriculture Department. This is part of ongoing efforts to help offset income losses resulting from prolonged dry conditions. In total, 2,516 applications were approved in 2025 for losses incurred during 2024.
