The Drewry's World Container Index rose by 8% to $3,803 per 40ft container this week. The Drewry WCI composite index also increased by 8% to $3,803 per feu, which is 63% lower than the previous pandemic peak of $10,377 in September 2021 but 168% higher than the average of $1,420 in 2019 (pre-pandemic).
