In week 2, the three-week average wholesale prices of bananas from Latin America stood at €112/100 kgs.
Average wholesale prices of bananas from Latin America were at €119/100 kgs in the Netherlands. Prices in Belgium stood at €96/100 kgs, while Italians paid €129/100 kgs and the French paid €115 per 100 kgs.
Average wholesale prices of bananas produced within Europe stood at €105/100 kgs in Spain. Prices in the Netherlands came in at €110 per 100 kgs, while the French paid €129/100 kgs.
The EU three-week weighted average price of bananas produced within Europe (UK price excluded) stood at €101 per 100 kgs.
