European Commission presents simplification options to reduce burden on EU farmers

The European Commission has sent the Belgian Presidency a paper outlining first possible measures to help reduce the administrative burden on farmers' shoulders. The paper, which will be discussed with member states at the Agriculture Council on 26 February, lists a number of short- and medium-term measures that can be taken
