ISA has reported that approximately 569.66 hectares of insured agricultural land have been damaged by heavy rains, winds, and floods, primarily in the western provinces of Cocle, Veraguas, and Herrera. The Ministry of Agrarian Development (MIDA) has released a preliminary report confirming that rice crops are among those affected.
