Jeroen de Ridder, an affiliated grower of Coöperatie Hoogstraten, has a long history of pumpkin farming. His passion began at the age of eight when he was already cultivating nearly 100 different types of pumpkins. Today, Jeroen grows about 15 varieties on an impressive 70-hectare farm in Belgium. One of the varieties he grows is the Hokkaido pumpkin.
