Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) has exceeded a total fleet capacity of 7 million twenty-foot equivalent units (TEU), further widening its lead over other major global container carriers. As per Alphaliner data, this milestone was achieved with the recent addition of two 16,000 TEU vessels, including the MSC Salerno from Dalian.
