We'd like to inform you that the new measures adopted by Parliament on Wednesday aim to enhance sustainability in packaging and decrease packaging waste within the EU. The regulation, which targets the increasing waste levels, aims to standardize internal market regulations and promote a circular economy. It was passed with 476 votes in favor and 129 against.
