New Zealand's total export value increases in 2022
According to the statistics department Stats NZ, New Zealand's total exports saw a growth of 14 percent to 72.2 billion NZ dollars (US$46.92 billion) in the year ended December 2022 compared with 2021. This growth was mainly driven by price inflation. Annual imports also rose sharply to 86.7 billion NZ dollars, up 23 percent.
