Australian Organic Limited (AOL) will advocate for stricter penalties for companies caught deceiving consumers when it participates in the upcoming public hearing of the Senate inquiry on greenwashing in Canberra today. Since AOL first submitted its report to the Senate committee in May 2023, the ACCC, the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, has also conducted investigations into the issue.
