In 2023/24, Scottish seed potato exports reached over 92,000 tonnes. The primary market is Egypt, accounting for 60% of exports, followed by Morocco at 10%. The remaining exports are distributed among 26 other countries, with volumes ranging from thousands to a few hundred tonnes. Looking ahead, Scotland aims to expand its potato export market.
