Macadamias are grown along the eastern coast of Australia, from the NSW Mid North Coast in the south to the Atherton Tablelands in the north. Bundaberg and the Northern Rivers region collectively produce around 80% of the Australian crop. Australia is home to approximately 800 macadamia growers.
