President John Dramani Mahama is facing increasing pressure to reconsider and lower port charges, in light of his 2024 campaign promise to streamline fees in order to lighten the load on importers and enhance trade efficiency. The request was put forth by Kwaku Boamah, President of the Ghana Council in Belgium.
