The Laos-China Railway entered a new phase of growth by enabling the transportation of more than 2.48 million tons of goods worth over CNY 10 billion (USD 1.4 billion) between January and May. This information was reported by Chinese customs through Xinhua. The railway experienced an increase in both freight volume.
