Biotechnology: agreement possible by the end of the legislative period
"The approval with almost 60% of the votes in favour of the position on the new regulation authorising the cultivation of new varieties obtained by means of Assisted Evolution Techniques (Tea) by the Environment Commission gives us hope for a final agreement before the end of the parliamentary term," commented Paolo De Castro, Member of the Agriculture Commission of the European Parliament.
