Exports of frozen strawberries from Poland in H1 2022
The export volume of frozen strawberries from Poland (CN category 081110 - Strawberries and strawberries uncooked or cooked by steaming or boiling in water, frozen, whether or not containing added sugar or other sweeteners) amounted to 41.4 thousand tonnes in H1 2022, with a value of PLN 296.4 million. This represents a slight year-on-year increase.
Indeed, in the first half of 2021, exports in the category in question amounted to 41.3 thousand tonnes and PLN 271.2 million. This represents an increase in volume of 0.1 thousand tonnes, or 0.3 per cent, and an increase in value of PLN 25.2 million, or 9.3 per cent.
The average price of frozen strawberries exported from Poland in the first half of 2022 was PLN 7.16/kg compared to PLN 6.57/kg in the same period of 2021, a year-on-year increase of 9.0 per cent.

When it comes to average prices of frozen strawberries exported from Poland, in the first half of 2022, the highest average price among the five largest recipients was paid by Sweden - 7.82 PLN/kg, and the lowest by the Netherlands - 6.69 PLN/kg. In contrast, the largest recipient, Germany, paid an average of 6.70 PLN/kg.
