As for the value of onion exports, it amounted to PLN 106.0 million in the 2021/2022 season (from August to November 2021). Thus, it was marginally higher than in the corresponding period of the previous season, as we have here an increase of 0.5 million PLN and 0.5 per cent. On the other hand, compared to the 2019/2020 season, we have a decrease by as much as PLN 15.2 million, i.e. by 12.5 per cent.
When it comes to the distribution of onion exports over the individual months of the season, it has not been possible to maintain month-on-month growth in value terms, although such a trend (with a small dynamic) is visible in the case of volume. In any case, the increase in November 2021 against October of the same year is positive - volume by 1.1 per cent and value by 6.7 per cent. Unfortunately, both the volume of onion exported from Poland in November 2021 and its value were lower in relation to November of 2019 and 2020.
