• In this report, we analyze the prices of various types of tomatoes in two major wholesale markets in Poland: Warsaw (Bronisze) and Poznan (WGRO), based on the latest data available as of December 10, 2024.
  
• Starting with the Warsaw (Bronisze) market, the price for imported cocktail tomatoes ranges from €1.88 to €2.72 per kilogram, with no change from previous reports. Similarly, imported standard tomatoes are priced between €0.84 and €2.72 per kilogram, again showing no variation. The rose tomatoes, which are often considered a premium variety, have a price range of €2.51 to €4.19 per kilogram, maintaining a stable market position without any price change.
  
• In the Poznan (WGRO) market, the prices are presented per 6 kg packages, so for ease of comparison, we convert them to per kilogram prices. The lima tomatoes are priced at €5.28 per 6 kg, translating to a price of €0.88 per kilogram, with no price change reported. The rose tomatoes are priced between €11.52 and €12.57 for 6 kg, equating to €1.92 to €2.10 per kilogram, showing stability in pricing. Glasshouse tomatoes are priced between €9.42 and €11.52 for 6 kg, which translates to €1.57 to €1.92 per kilogram. Lastly, plum tomatoes are priced between €8.80 and €10.05 for 6 kg, or €1.47 to €1.68 per kilogram, all showing no price changes.
