- In the latest analysis of wholesale market prices for fresh fruits and vegetables in Poland, we observed notable variations across different products and markets. As of October 20, 2023, the prices reflect both seasonal trends and market dynamics.
- Starting with apples, the Warsaw wholesale market reported a price of 0.60 EUR per kilogram, showing a slight increase of 0.05 EUR compared to the previous week. Meanwhile, in the Poznań market, the price remained stable at 0.55 EUR per kilogram. This stability in Poznań contrasts with the upward trend observed in Warsaw.
- Potatoes exhibited a different pattern. In the Wrocław market, the price was noted at 0.30 EUR per kilogram, which represents a decrease of 0.02 EUR from last week. On the other hand, in the Kraków market, prices increased to 0.35 EUR per kilogram, up by 0.03 EUR. This divergence suggests regional differences in supply and demand conditions.
- Tomatoes saw a notable price increase in the Gdańsk market, where the price reached 1.20 EUR per kilogram, up by 0.10 EUR. Conversely, in the Łódź market, prices remained constant at 1.10 EUR per kilogram. This stability in Łódź could be attributed to consistent supply levels.
