- In the latest analysis of wholesale market prices for fresh fruits and vegetables in Poland, we observe significant variations across different products and locations. As of October 20, 2023, the data reflects diverse pricing trends, highlighting the dynamics of the market.
- Starting with apples, the price on the Warsaw wholesale market is currently at 0.45 EUR per kg, showing a slight increase from the previous week where it was 0.42 EUR per kg. In contrast, the Poznań market reports a stable price of 0.40 EUR per kg, unchanged from last week.
- Turning to tomatoes, a notable difference can be seen between the Wrocław and Kraków markets. In Wrocław, tomatoes are priced at 1.20 EUR per kg, a decrease from 1.30 EUR per kg the previous week. Meanwhile, in Kraków, the price remains steady at 1.25 EUR per kg.
- Potatoes present an interesting case, with the Łódź market offering them at 0.30 EUR per kg, down from 0.35 EUR per kg last week. In Gdańsk, the price is slightly higher at 0.32 EUR per kg, reflecting a stable market condition over the past two weeks.
- Regarding cucumbers, the Katowice market reports a price of 0.90 EUR per kg, which remains unchanged from last week. However, in Lublin, cucumbers are priced at 0.85 EUR per kg, showing a small decrease from 0.88 EUR per kg the previous week.
