- In the latest analysis of fresh produce prices across various wholesale markets in Poland, significant differences have been observed. On October 15th, the price of potatoes in the Bronisze wholesale market was recorded at 0.30 EUR per kilogram. In comparison, the same product in the Poznań market was slightly higher, priced at 0.35 EUR per kilogram. This represents a 16.7% increase in Poznań compared to Bronisze.
- Tomatoes also showed a notable variance in pricing. At the Łódź wholesale market, tomatoes were priced at 0.90 EUR per kilogram as of October 10th. Meanwhile, in the Wrocław market, the price was 1.10 EUR per kilogram, marking a 22.2% increase. This difference highlights the regional disparities in supply and demand influencing pricing.
- Another interesting observation was made with apples, which in the Gdańsk market were priced at 0.50 EUR per kilogram on October 12th. In contrast, the Kraków market offered apples at a lower price of 0.45 EUR per kilogram, reflecting a 10% decrease compared to Gdańsk.
