- In this report, we examine the prices of various potato varieties across different wholesale markets in Poland, based on data from February 2025. Our analysis covers the markets in Warsaw (Bronisze), Poznan (WGRO), and Wroclaw (Targpiast).
- At the Warsaw (Bronisze) market, the price for domestic potatoes ranges between €0.24 and €0.42 per kilogram, with no change from previous data. Imported potatoes are priced higher, ranging from €0.37 to €0.73 per kilogram, reflecting a decrease of 8.7%. Varieties such as IRGA and Iris show stable prices, with IRGA between €0.31 and €0.42 per kilogram, and Iris between €0.39 and €0.46 per kilogram. Early import potatoes are priced between €0.71 and €1.05 per kilogram, maintaining stability.
- In Poznan (WGRO), the domestic potato prices are recorded for a 15 kg unit, translating to approximately €0.17 to €0.25 per kilogram, with no change noted. Early potatoes are priced for a 20 kg unit, equating to about €0.84 to €0.94 per kilogram, also showing no price fluctuation.
- The Wroclaw (Targpiast) market lists early import potatoes from Greece at prices ranging from €0.63 to €0.98 per kilogram, with no change. Domestic potatoes are priced between €0.21 and €0.31 per kilogram, maintaining stability.
