- In this report, we analyze the prices of various types of peppers across three major wholesale markets in Poland: Warsaw (Bronisze), Poznan (WGRO), and Wroclaw (Targpiast), as of the latest available data on October 8, 2024.
- Starting with the Warsaw Bronisze market, the prices for red and yellow peppers range from 1.31 to 1.47 EUR per kilogram, with no change in prices compared to the previous data. Green peppers are priced between 1.26 and 1.47 EUR per kilogram, also showing no price fluctuation.
- Moving on to the Poznan WGRO market, red peppers are priced between 6.91 and 8.38 EUR for a 5 kg package, translating to 1.38 to 1.68 EUR per kilogram. Green peppers are available at 5.24 to 6.28 EUR for a 5 kg package, which is 1.05 to 1.26 EUR per kilogram. Yellow peppers in Poznan have a price range from 7.33 to 8.38 EUR for a 5 kg package, equating to 1.47 to 1.68 EUR per kilogram. All price ranges have remained stable with no changes.
- In Wroclaw's Targpiast market, white pepper (rożek) is priced between 1.05 and 1.88 EUR per kilogram, showing a decrease of 6.7%. Chili peppers are priced between 2.09 and 3.35 EUR per kilogram, with a price drop of 3.7%. Red peppers range from 1.05 to 1.47 EUR per kilogram, while green peppers are between 1.05 and 1.36 EUR per kilogram, both showing no change. Notably, yellow peppers have seen a significant increase of 15.4%, with prices ranging from 1.47 to 1.68 EUR per kilogram.
