Analysis of Wholesale Fruit and Vegetable Prices in Poland as of November 15, 2024

• In this report, we will analyze the prices of various tomato varieties on two major wholesale markets in Poland: Warsaw (Bronisze) and Poznan (WGRO), based on the latest data from November 15, 2024.
  
• Starting with the Warsaw (Bronisze) market, the price range for imported cocktail tomatoes is between €2.72 and €3.14 per kilogram, with no change from the previous period. Imported regular tomatoes are priced between €1.47 and €2.93 per kilogram, showing a significant decrease of 19.2%. Rose tomatoes, on the other hand, have experienced a price increase of 4.0%, with prices ranging from €1.88 to €3.56 per kilogram. Greenhouse tomatoes are stable in price, ranging from €1.47 to €1.88 per kilogram.
  
• Moving on to the Poznan (WGRO) market, the prices for various tomato varieties are presented in 6 kg units. The price for lima tomatoes is €5.28 per 6 kg, which translates to €0.88 per kilogram, with no change observed. Rose tomatoes are priced between €11.52 and €12.57 per 6 kg, which is €1.92 to €2.10 per kilogram, remaining stable. Greenhouse tomatoes cost between €9.42 and €11.52 per 6 kg, equating to €1.57 to €1.92 per kilogram, with no price change. Lastly, plum tomatoes are priced between €10.47 and €11.52 per 6 kg, translating to €1.75 to €1.92 per kilogram, also showing no change.
