Comparison of Potato Prices in Polish Wholesale Markets as of March 5, 2025

• In this report, we analyze the prices of various types of potatoes across different wholesale markets in Poland, focusing on the most recent data available as of March 5, 2025.
  
• At the Warsaw (Bronisze) market, regular potatoes are priced between 0.24 EUR and 0.49 EUR per kilogram, with no change in price from previous data. Imported potatoes range from 0.37 EUR to 0.73 EUR per kilogram, also showing no variation. The IRGA variety is sold between 0.39 EUR and 0.49 EUR per kilogram, and early imported potatoes are priced from 0.54 EUR to 0.99 EUR per kilogram. Lastly, the Iris variety is available at prices similar to IRGA, between 0.39 EUR and 0.49 EUR per kilogram.
  
• In Poznań (WGRO), the price for a 15 kg sack of regular potatoes translates to approximately 0.17 EUR to 0.25 EUR per kilogram, with no price change noted. Early potatoes, sold in 20 kg sacks, are priced between 16.75 EUR and 18.85 EUR, which is about 0.84 EUR to 0.94 EUR per kilogram.
  
• Moving to the Wrocław (Targpiast) market, early imported potatoes from Greece are priced between 0.63 EUR and 0.98 EUR per kilogram. Domestic potatoes are significantly cheaper, ranging from 0.21 EUR to 0.31 EUR per kilogram, with no change in prices reported.
