- In this report, we analyze the prices of various types of peppers across different wholesale markets in Poland as of mid-May 2025. The data provides insights into the pricing trends in Warsaw (Bronisze), Poznan (WGRO), and Wroclaw (Targpiast).
- At the Warsaw Bronisze market, the price of imported red and yellow peppers ranges from €1.26 to €1.57 per kilogram, with no change compared to previous data. Meanwhile, imported green peppers are priced between €2.20 and €2.51 per kilogram, also showing no variation in price.
- In Poznan's WGRO market, as of May 14, 2025, red peppers are priced between €7.33 and €9.42 per 5 kg package, which translates to approximately €1.47 to €1.88 per kilogram. Green peppers are more expensive, with prices ranging from €9.42 to €11.52 per 5 kg package, or approximately €1.88 to €2.30 per kilogram. Yellow peppers are priced between €7.33 and €10.47 per 5 kg package, equivalent to €1.47 to €2.09 per kilogram. All these prices remain unchanged.
- At the Wroclaw Targpiast market, white pepper "rożek" is priced between €2.51 and €3.14 per kilogram. Chili peppers have a higher price range, from €6.28 to €8.38 per kilogram. Red peppers have seen a notable decrease in price, now ranging from €1.47 to €1.88 per kilogram, marking a significant drop of 27.3%. Green peppers are priced between €1.88 and €2.30 per kilogram, with no price change. Yellow peppers have decreased in price by 10.0%, now ranging from €1.68 to €2.09 per kilogram.
