- In this report, we compare the wholesale prices of potatoes across different markets in Poland based on the latest data available. The markets analyzed include Warsaw (Bronisze), Poznan (WGRO), and Wroclaw (Targpiast).
- In Warsaw's Bronisze market, as of April 9, 2025, the price of domestic potatoes ranges from 0.24 to 0.49 EUR per kg, with no change in price noted. Imported potatoes are priced between 0.36 and 0.73 EUR per kg, also showing no price movement. The IRGA variety is available at prices between 0.39 and 0.47 EUR per kg. Early imported potatoes are priced from 0.50 to 0.89 EUR per kg, while the Iris variety ranges from 0.39 to 0.49 EUR per kg, all maintaining stable prices.
- In Poznan's WGRO market, on April 7, 2025, domestic potatoes are sold in 15 kg bags priced between 2.51 and 3.77 EUR, translating to approximately 0.17 to 0.25 EUR per kg. Early potatoes are available in 20 kg bags priced between 18.43 and 18.85 EUR, which is approximately 0.92 to 0.94 EUR per kg. Notably, the price of early potatoes has increased by 4.7%.
- In Wroclaw's Targpiast market, on April 8, 2025, early imported potatoes from Greece are priced between 0.63 and 0.98 EUR per kg, with prices remaining unchanged. Domestic potatoes are available at a lower price range of 0.21 to 0.31 EUR per kg, also without any price change.
