- The latest data on potato prices in various wholesale markets across Poland reveals significant variations. On September 4, 2024, the Warsaw (Bronisze) market reported prices for standard potatoes ranging from €0.23 to €0.29 per kilogram, with no change from the previous period. In comparison, the IRGA variety of potatoes in the same market was priced between €0.31 and €0.38 per kilogram, also showing no change. The Iris variety was slightly more expensive, with prices ranging from €0.34 to €0.42 per kilogram, maintaining stability as well.
- In Poznan (WGRO), the price of potatoes was recorded on September 2, 2024. The prices ranged from €3.14 to €3.77 per 15 kg bag. When converted to a per kilogram basis, this translates to approximately €0.21 to €0.25 per kilogram, showing a significant decrease of 34% from the previous period.
- Meanwhile, in Wroclaw (Targpiast), as of September 4, 2024, imported early potatoes (from Greece) were priced between €0.63 and €0.98 per kilogram, showing no change. Domestic potatoes in the same market were priced between €0.27 and €0.38 per kilogram, remaining stable as well.
