Comparison of Wholesale Tomato Prices in Polish Markets as of October 6, 2025

• In this report, we analyze the wholesale prices of various types of tomatoes in two major Polish markets: Warsaw (Bronisze) and Poznań (WGRO), as of October 6, 2025. This comparison provides insights into price variations and market trends for fresh tomatoes across these regions.
  
• In the Warsaw (Bronisze) market, the price for cocktail tomatoes ranges from €2.93 to €3.35 per kg, with no change in price from previous observations. Ground tomatoes have seen a significant increase in price, ranging from €0.94 to €1.26 per kg, marking a substantial rise of 238.7%. Rose tomatoes are priced between €0.84 and €1.05 per kg, maintaining stability with no change. Glasshouse tomatoes are priced from €0.79 to €1.05 per kg, also showing no change from previous prices.
  
• In the Poznań (WGRO) market, tomato Lima is sold at a fixed price of €7.54 for a 6 kg box, translating to approximately €1.26 per kg, with no change in price. Rose tomatoes are priced between €3.77 and €4.61 for a 6 kg box, or approximately €0.63 to €0.77 per kg, with stable pricing. Rosamunda tomatoes are priced at €12.57 for a 6 kg box, equivalent to about €2.10 per kg, with no price variation observed. Glasshouse tomatoes range from €4.61 to €5.45 for a 6 kg box, approximately €0.77 to €0.91 per kg, remaining unchanged. Plum tomatoes are priced between €8.38 and €8.59 for a 6 kg box, or roughly €1.40 to €1.43 per kg, also without price change.
