- In this report, we analyze the prices of various types of peppers in three major Polish wholesale markets: Warsaw (Bronisze), Poznan (WGRO), and Wroclaw (Targpiast), based on the latest data available as of October 28, 2024.
- Starting with Warsaw (Bronisze), the price of red and yellow peppers ranges from €1.15 to €1.47 per kilogram, showing a decrease of 10.7%. For imported red and yellow peppers, prices are slightly higher, ranging from €1.47 to €1.68 per kilogram, with a similar downward trend of 11.8%. Green peppers in Warsaw are priced between €1.05 and €1.26 per kilogram, reflecting an 8.3% decrease.
- In Poznan (WGRO), red peppers are priced between €1.76 and €2.09 per kilogram (converted from €8.80 to €10.47 for a 5 kg unit), with no change from the previous period. Green peppers are offered at €0.96 to €1.05 per kilogram (€4.82 to €5.24 for a 5 kg unit), also with no price change. Yellow peppers in Poznan are priced from €1.47 to €1.68 per kilogram (€7.33 to €8.38 for a 5 kg unit), maintaining stable prices.
- Moving to Wroclaw (Targpiast), the price of white pepper "rożek" ranges from €0.84 to €1.57 per kilogram, experiencing an 8.0% decrease. Chili peppers are available at €2.09 to €2.93 per kilogram, with prices remaining unchanged. Red peppers show an increase of 6.7%, with prices ranging from €1.47 to €1.88 per kilogram. Green peppers are priced between €0.84 and €1.47 per kilogram, marking an 8.3% decrease. Yellow peppers in Wroclaw are priced from €1.47 to €2.09 per kilogram, showing a 5.6% decrease.
