- In this report, we analyze the prices of grapes across different wholesale markets in Poland as of December 2, 2024. Our focus is on white and red grapes, with data collected from Warsaw (Bronisze), Poznań (WGRO), and Wrocław (Targpiast).
- Starting with the Bronisze market in Warsaw, white imported grapes are sold at prices ranging from €3.77 to €6.91 per kilogram. The red imported grapes have the same maximum price of €6.91 but start at a lower minimum price of €1.88 per kilogram. Notably, there has been no change in prices for both white and red grapes.
- Moving on to Poznań's WGRO market, grapes are sold in larger units, which necessitates converting prices to a per-kilogram basis for comparison. The general grapes are priced between €23.04 and €29.32 for a 4.5 kg package, translating to approximately €5.12 to €6.52 per kilogram. White grapes, sold in a 7 kg package, range from €19.90 to €34.56, which is about €2.84 to €4.94 per kilogram. The black grape variant shows a consistent price for the 7 kg package at €15.71 to €16.75, equivalent to €2.24 to €2.39 per kilogram. For the red globe grapes, the price ranges from €19.90 to €23.04 per 7 kg package, or approximately €2.84 to €3.29 per kilogram.
- Finally, at the Targpiast market in Wrocław, prices for white grapes are between €2.09 and €4.61 per kilogram. Red grapes are priced higher, ranging from €2.51 to €4.19 per kilogram, reflecting a notable price increase of 14.3%.
