Subject of the Report: Price Comparison of Potatoes on Various Wholesale Markets in Poland as of 14th August 2024

• In this report, we analyze and compare the prices of different types of potatoes on various wholesale markets in Poland as of 14th August 2024. The markets included in this report are Warsaw (Bronisze), Poznan (WGRO), and Wroclaw (Targpiast).
  
• At the Warsaw (Bronisze) market, the prices for regular potatoes range from 0.22 EUR to 0.31 EUR per kilogram. The IRGA variety of potatoes is priced between 0.27 EUR and 0.34 EUR per kilogram, while the Iris variety ranges from 0.31 EUR to 0.39 EUR per kilogram. There have been no price changes reported for these products.
  
• In Poznan (WGRO), the early potatoes are sold in 15 kg sacks, with prices ranging from 3.14 EUR to 6.28 EUR per sack. This equates to a price range of approximately 0.21 EUR to 0.42 EUR per kilogram. Similar to the Warsaw market, no price changes have been observed.
  
• At the Wroclaw (Targpiast) market, early imported potatoes from Greece are priced between 0.63 EUR and 0.98 EUR per kilogram. Domestically produced early potatoes are sold at prices ranging from 0.21 EUR to 0.31 EUR per kilogram. Regular domestic potatoes are priced between 0.25 EUR and 0.31 EUR per kilogram. Again, no price changes have been reported for these products.
