• En este informe, analizaremos y compararemos los precios de diferentes tipos de tomates en los mercados mayoristas de Polonia, específicamente en Poznań (WGRO) y Łódź (Zjazdowa), a partir de la información más reciente del 4 de septiembre de 2024.
  
• En el mercado mayorista de Poznań (WGRO), los precios de los tomates se mantuvieron estables para algunas variedades, mientras que otras experimentaron cambios significativos. Por ejemplo, el tomate lima se cotizó a un precio fijo de 5.28 EUR por caja de 6 kg, lo que equivale a 0.88 EUR por kg, sin cambios en comparación con el período anterior. Por otro lado, el tomate ciruela mantuvo su precio estable, con una cotización entre 6.28 EUR y 6.91 EUR por caja de 6 kg (1.05 - 1.15 EUR por kg).
  
• En el mercado mayorista de Łódź (Zjazdowa), se observaron fluctuaciones más notables en los precios de los tomates. El tomate cherry en rama mostró una significativa reducción del 30,6%, con precios entre 2.09 EUR y 3.14 EUR por kg. El tomate cherry de España también experimentó una disminución del 18,2%, cotizándose entre 0.84 EUR y 1.05 EUR por caja de 250 g (3.36 - 4.20 EUR por kg). En cuanto al tomate rosa, los precios se mantuvieron estables entre 4.19 EUR y 7.33 EUR por caja de 6 kg (0.70 - 1.22 EUR por kg). Finalmente, el tomate polny se vendió entre 8.38 EUR y 14.66 EUR por caja de 18 kg, lo que equivale a un rango de 0.47 - 0.81 EUR por kg, sin cambios en comparación con el período anterior.

• In this report, we will analyze and compare the prices of different types of tomatoes in wholesale markets in Poland, specifically in Poznań (WGRO) and Łódź (Zjazdowa), based on the most recent information from September 4, 2024.
  
• In the Poznań (WGRO) wholesale market, tomato prices remained stable for some varieties, while others experienced significant changes. For example, the lima tomato was priced at a fixed rate of 5.28 EUR per 6 kg box, equivalent to 0.88 EUR per kg, with no changes compared to the previous period. Similarly, the rose tomato saw a 7.7% reduction, priced at 5.03 EUR per 6 kg box, or 0.84 EUR per kg. The greenhouse tomato also showed a 7.8% decrease, with prices ranging from 4.82 EUR to 5.03 EUR per 6 kg box (0.80 - 0.84 EUR per kg). On the other hand, the plum tomato maintained its stable price, quoted between 6.28 EUR and 6.91 EUR per 6 kg box (1.05 - 1.15 EUR per kg).
