October 2024 Report on Grape Prices in Various Polish Wholesale Markets

• In this report, we will compare the prices of white and red grapes in various Polish wholesale markets as of the latest data available on September 26, 2024.
  
• In Warsaw, at the Bronisze market, the price of imported white grapes ranges from 1.05 EUR/kg to 2.51 EUR/kg. On the same date, imported red grapes are priced between 1.47 EUR/kg and 2.51 EUR/kg. There has been no change in these prices.
  
• Moving to Poznan, the Wgro market shows a more varied pricing structure. On September 25, 2024, a 4.5 kg carton of grapes costs between 7.33 EUR and 12.57 EUR, translating to a price range of approximately 1.63 EUR/kg to 2.79 EUR/kg. White grapes in 7 kg cartons are priced from 12.57 EUR to 14.66 EUR, which equates to around 1.80 EUR/kg to 2.09 EUR/kg. Black grapes in 5 kg cartons range from 7.33 EUR to 10.47 EUR, equivalent to about 1.47 EUR/kg to 2.09 EUR/kg. Red Globe grapes in 7 kg cartons cost between 13.61 EUR and 16.75 EUR, roughly 1.94 EUR/kg to 2.39 EUR/kg. There have been no changes in these prices.
  
• At the Praska Giełda Spożywcza market on September 25, 2024, white grapes are priced uniformly at 1.47 EUR/kg with no changes observed.
  
• In Wroclaw, at the Targpiast market on September 25, 2024, white grapes are priced between 2.51 EUR/kg and 4.19 EUR/kg, showing an increase of 18.5%. On the other hand, red grapes are priced from 2.30 EUR/kg to 2.93 EUR/kg, which reflects a 26.5% decrease.
  
• Finally, in Lodz at the Zjazdowa market as of September 26, 2024, red grapes are priced between 2.30 EUR/kg and 2.72 EUR/kg. Moldova red grapes cost from 1.68 EUR/kg to 1.88 EUR/kg. White grapes are priced between 2.30 EUR/kg and 2.93 EUR/kg. No changes in prices have been reported.
