• In this report, we will compare the prices of different types of tomatoes at two major wholesale markets in Poland: Warsaw (Bronisze) and Wroclaw (Targpiast). The prices are given in EUR per kilogram.
  
• Starting with the Warsaw (Bronisze) market, as of August 5, 2024, the price for "tomatoes gruntowe" (field tomatoes) ranged from €0.31 to €0.52 per kg, showing a significant drop of 38.5%. "Tomatoes rose" (rose tomatoes) were priced between €0.52 and €0.70 per kg, experiencing a slight increase of 4.5%. Lastly, "glasshouse tomatoes" ranged from €0.63 to €0.73 per kg, which is a decrease of 7.1%.
  
• Turning to the Wroclaw (Targpiast) market, the prices for "tomatoes" on August 1, 2024, were between €0.63 and €0.84 per kg, remaining stable with no changes. "Tomatoes lima" were on sale from €0.42 to €0.63 per kg, reflecting a 23.1% decrease. Similarly, "tomatoes rose" ranged from €0.63 to €0.84 per kg and showed no price changes.
  

In summary, it can be observed that the prices for various types of tomatoes vary between these two markets. While Warsaw saw considerable fluctuations especially for "tomatoes gruntowe" and "glasshouse tomatoes," prices for standard "tomatoes" and "tomatoes rose" in Wroclaw remained stable.
