- In the latest assessment, we have analyzed the prices of carrots across various wholesale markets in Poland, focusing on trade data available up to 19th February 2025. Starting with the Bronisze market in Warsaw, local carrot prices fluctuated between 0.31 EUR/kg and 0.42 EUR/kg, with no significant price change reported recently. Imported carrots in this market are priced slightly higher, ranging from 0.38 EUR/kg to 0.47 EUR/kg.
- At the Poznan WGRO market, as of 18th February 2025, the price of locally sourced carrots ranged from 3.14 EUR to 3.56 EUR per 10 kg bag. When recalculated per kilogram, this corresponds to 0.31 EUR/kg to 0.36 EUR/kg. Additionally, early carrots with leaves were offered at a price between 8.80 EUR and 10.47 EUR per 15 count, translating to approximately 0.59 EUR per piece on the lower end.
- The Targpiast market in Wroclaw reported carrot prices from 0.36 EUR/kg to 0.44 EUR/kg on 17th February 2025, consistent with no recent price changes. Imported carrots in Wroclaw are notably higher, priced between 0.52 EUR/kg and 0.73 EUR/kg. Early carrots with leaves were available at 0.94 EUR to 1.05 EUR per bunch, offering another variant for consumer selection.
