- In this report, we compare the prices of carrots across three major Polish wholesale markets: Warsaw (Bronisze), Poznań (WGRO), and Wrocław (Targpiast), based on the latest available data. The prices are reported in euros, allowing for a straightforward comparison.
- At the Warsaw (Bronisze) wholesale market, the price of locally produced carrots ranges from €0.27 to €0.36 per kilogram, indicating no change from previous values. Imported carrots at this market maintain a similar price range, from €0.29 to €0.36 per kilogram, also reflecting stability in pricing.
- In Poznań (WGRO), carrots are priced differently, and the data from November 13, 2024, shows that a 10 kg bag sells for between €2.09 and €3.14. This translates to €0.21 to €0.31 per kilogram. Here, prices have also remained stable, showing no percentage change.
- Moving on to Wrocław (Targpiast), as of November 12, 2024, the price for carrots is slightly higher, ranging from €0.42 to €0.52 per kilogram. For imported carrots, the price climbs further, ranging from €0.84 to €1.05 per kilogram. Additionally, early carrots with stems are sold by the bunch, priced between €0.94 and €1.05, with no change noted in these prices as well.
