Comparative Analysis of Carrot Prices in Polish Wholesale Markets as of November 8, 2024

• In this report, we analyze the prices of carrots across various wholesale markets in Poland, taking into account the latest data available, dated November 8, 2024. We examine markets in Warsaw (Bronisze), Poznań (WGRO), and Wrocław (Targpiast) for a better understanding of the pricing differences.
  
• On the Warsaw (Bronisze) wholesale market, the price for domestic carrots is recorded between €0.27 and €0.34 per kg, with no noted change. Imported carrots market slightly higher, with prices ranging from €0.31 to €0.40 per kg, also experiencing no price change.
  
• Moving to the Poznań (WGRO) market, carrots are sold in 10 kg units. Here, the price per 10 kg sack ranges from €2.09 to €3.14. When calculated per kg, these prices translate to €0.21 and €0.31 respectively, aligning closely with the prices observed in Warsaw.
  
• Finally, at the Wrocław (Targpiast) market, the price for domestic carrots is noted between €0.42 and €0.52 per kg, showing no change since the last evaluation on November 6, 2024. Imported carrots are priced higher, ranging from €0.84 to €1.05 per kg. Additionally, early carrots with leaves are sold in bunches, with prices between €0.94 and €1.05 per bunch.
