Comparative Analysis of Tomato Prices in Wholesale Markets in Poland as of September 22, 2025

• The current report analyzes the prices of various types of tomatoes in different wholesale markets in Poland, using data recorded as of September 22, 2025. The markets included in our analysis are Warsaw (Bronisze), Poznan (WGRO), Wroclaw (Targpiast), and Bialystok (PCRT).
  
• In the Warsaw market (Bronisze), the price for cocktail tomatoes fluctuates between 2.09 and 2.72 EUR per kg, showing no change from previous data. Ground tomatoes exhibit a significant price increase of 282.4%, priced at 2.30 EUR per kg. Both rose and glasshouse tomatoes have stable prices ranging from 0.52 to 1.05 EUR per kg.
  
• In Poznan (WGRO), the price of Lima tomatoes is consistent at 7.54 EUR for a 6 kg carton, translating to approximately 1.26 EUR per kg. Rose tomatoes, however, experienced a 7% decrease, with prices varying from 3.77 to 4.61 EUR per 6 kg, equating to about 0.63 to 0.77 EUR per kg. Rosamunda and plum tomatoes remain steady at 12.57 EUR per 6 kg (2.10 EUR per kg) and roughly 8.38 to 8.59 EUR per 6 kg (1.40 to 1.43 EUR per kg), respectively. Glasshouse tomatoes did not show any price change, ranging from 0.77 to 0.91 EUR per kg.
  
• Wroclaw (Targpiast) provides prices for various tomatoes without notable changes. Tomatoes generally cost between 0.84 and 0.94 EUR per kg. Lima tomatoes are priced between 0.52 and 0.73 EUR per kg, and rose tomatoes range from 0.84 to 1.15 EUR per kg.
  
• Finally, in Bialystok (PCRT), as of September 19, 2025, the price for red tomatoes has decreased by 30%, priced at 0.88 EUR per kg. Similarly, the PL rose variety saw a 25% reduction, also priced at 0.88 EUR per kg.
