Comparative Analysis of Wholesale Vegetable Prices in Poland: Latest Data from May 7, 2025

• In this report, we compare the wholesale prices of tomatoes in Poland based on the latest available data from various markets. The primary focus is on varieties of tomatoes traded at the Warsaw (Bronisze) and Poznan (WGRO) markets.
  At the Warsaw market (Bronisze), on May 7, 2025, the price for imported cocktail tomatoes ranged from 2.51 EUR to 3.14 EUR per kilogram, with no price change reported. For rose tomatoes, the prices varied between 1.05 EUR and 1.88 EUR per kilogram, also showing stability with no recorded change. Glasshouse tomatoes were priced from 1.05 EUR to 1.68 EUR per kilogram, maintaining steady prices with a 0.0% change.
  
• In comparison, at the Poznan (WGRO) market on May 5, 2025, rose tomatoes were priced between 7.54 EUR and 8.38 EUR per 6 kg, translating to approximately 1.26 EUR to 1.40 EUR per kilogram. These prices marked a notable decrease of 13.6% from previous levels. Glasshouse tomatoes in Poznan ranged from 8.17 EUR to 8.80 EUR per 6 kg, which calculates to around 1.36 EUR to 1.47 EUR per kilogram, reflecting a 10.0% price drop. Plum tomatoes maintained a higher price range of 12.57 EUR to 16.75 EUR per 6 kg box, equivalent to 2.10 EUR to 2.79 EUR per kilogram, with no change from prior observations.
