On February 25, 2025, at the Warsaw wholesale market (Bronisze), the price for domestically sourced carrots ranged from 0.31 to 0.42 EUR per kilogram. There was no change compared to previous data, maintaining a stable price range. For imported carrots, the prices were slightly higher, between 0.38 and 0.47 EUR per kilogram, again showing stability with no change recorded.
- Moving on to the Poznan market (WGRO) on the same date, domestic carrots were priced for a 10 kg unit, ranging from 3.14 to 3.56 EUR, which translates roughly to 0.31 to 0.36 EUR per kilogram. Like other markets, prices here remained unchanged. Additionally, the market offered early carrots with foliage in bundles of 15 pieces priced from 8.80 to 10.47 EUR, which suggests an emphasis on premium, fresh produce options.
- In contrast, data from February 24, 2025, at the Wroclaw market (Targpiast) highlighted similar price ranges for domestic carrots at 0.36 to 0.44 EUR per kilogram, showing a similar consistent trend with no change. Imported carrots were priced higher, ranging from 0.52 to 0.73 EUR per kilogram. Early carrots with foliage here are priced per bunch from 0.94 to 1.05 EUR, offering short, fresh carrots indicative of a specific market preference.
