- The recent analysis of wholesale tomato prices across major Polish markets as of September 18, 2025, reveals significant variations. On the Warsaw (Bronisze) market, the price for cocktail tomatoes ranges between €2.09 and €2.72 per kilogram, maintaining stability with no price change. In contrast, the price for ground tomatoes has dropped by 8.1%, now oscillating between €0.25 and €0.46 per kilogram. Meanwhile, rose tomatoes and glasshouse tomatoes have seen declines of 16.7% and 6.3%, respectively, with both priced between €0.52 and €1.05 per kilogram.
- Turning to the Poznan (WGRO) market, the pricing context differs slightly. Notably, Lima tomatoes are priced at €7.54 for a 6 kg package, equivalent to approximately €1.26 per kilogram, with no price change observed. Rose tomatoes experienced a 10.4% decline, now priced between €3.77 and €5.24 for a 6 kg package, translating to €0.63 to €0.87 per kilogram. Meanwhile, Rosamunda tomatoes remain stable at €12.57 for a 6 kg package, around €2.10 per kilogram. Glasshouse tomatoes on this market are priced between €4.61 and €5.45 for a 6 kg package (€0.77 to €0.91 per kilogram), experiencing a 5.9% decrease, while plum tomatoes hold steady at €8.38 to €8.59 for the same package size (€1.40 to €1.43 per kilogram).
- In Wroclaw (Targpiast), similar trends in pricing are evident. General tomato prices have seen no changes and are currently between €0.84 and €0.94 per kilogram. Lima tomatoes are priced between €0.52 and €0.73 per kilogram, experiencing a 7.7% decrease. Rose tomatoes remain stable at a price range of €0.84 to €1.15 per kilogram.
