- In this report, we will examine the prices of carrots on different wholesale markets in Poland as of October 9, 2024. We are focusing on three primary markets: Warsaw (Bronisze), Poznan (WGRO), and Wroclaw (Targpiast). The analysis will include both local and imported carrots, as well as those sold in bunches.
- At the Warsaw (Bronisze) market, the price of local carrots ranges from 0.23 EUR to 0.31 EUR per kilogram, with no noted change in price from previous data. Imported carrots in the same market are priced slightly higher, ranging from 0.27 EUR to 0.38 EUR per kilogram, again with no change in pricing.
- Moving to the Poznan (WGRO) market, prices are provided per 10 kg sack. The pricing for local carrots ranges from 2.09 EUR to 3.14 EUR per sack, which translates to approximately 0.21 EUR to 0.31 EUR per kilogram. This indicates that Poznan offers competitive pricing, similar to Warsaw, with no noted change.
- In Wroclaw (Targpiast), the price per kilogram of local carrots ranges from 0.31 EUR to 0.42 EUR, maintaining stability with no price changes. For imported carrots, the price is significantly higher, ranging from 0.67 EUR to 0.73 EUR per kilogram. Additionally, early carrots sold with tops are priced per bunch, ranging from 0.52 EUR to 0.94 EUR, showing a price stable compared to previous levels.
