As you can see, Italy had the largest apple stocks at the beginning of May, but Poland was not far behind. Poland's stocks, at 418 000 tonnes, were a record high, according to WAPA. Below is a comparison with the previous four seasons.

The rate of decline in stocks in Poland up to 1 April was similar to that one and two years ago, but in April it was slightly lower. It is a pity that we do not have reliable more recent data on this subject. Data of the nature of a well-chosen statistical sample. A technical analysis based on previous seasons indicates that there will probably still be more than 100 000 tonnes of apples in Polish warehouses at the end of June. It may be around 120 000 tonnes. Even despite government support in the form of withdrawal subsidies.
An important question will be how this apple will look in terms of quality at the end of June. If the withdrawals have taken the weakest stock off the market and good apples remain in the chambers, then demand for such stock may be quite high at the end of the season.
