Prices of raspberries for processing in Poland are knocking down

The raspberry season is in full swing and, apart from raspberries for freezing, also raspberries for pressing are being purchased. This year's raspberry buying prices have been very high since the beginning of the season and still tend to increase.

Let us remind, that raspberry purchase prices started from the level of 10,00 PLN/kg and it was already expensive. And now raspberry prices for freezing have reached 12.50-13.00 PLN/kg. Raspberries for pressing, on the other hand, are priced between 10.00-12.550 PLN/kg, with 12.00 PLN/kg being by far the most common. This is a simply staggering level.

But are producers satisfied with such a season? Processors are certainly not, but they have no choice, as demand is huge and warehouses are empty. Farmers point out that the high price level is the result of a lack of fruit, and with very poor productivity, income, even at record prices, will no longer be as impressive as current prices.
