Carrot Prices Down Despite Lower Expected Harvest

August has brought a clear downward trend in wholesale carrot prices. The selling prices of washed carrots, packed in bags, have fallen by an average of 18 percent since the beginning of this month. A year ago, during the same period, the drop was 13 percent, while two years ago prices remained
