Carrot Wholesale Prices Stable Amid Steady Supply in Key Regions

2026-07-01 20:51

Wholesale carrot prices in Poland remain stable at the end of June 2026, with consistent supply from main producing regions and moderate buyer demand.

As of late June 2026, the Polish carrot market is characterised by steady wholesale prices and regular supply. On the Bronisze wholesale market near Warsaw, carrots are trading at approximately €0.5–0.6/kg (2.0–2.5 PLN/kg). This level is consistent with typical early summer pricing and reflects a balance between available stocks and current demand. No significant price volatility has been reported in recent days for this product segment.

Supply of carrots is stable, with ongoing harvests across key regions including Mazowieckie, Wielkopolskie, and Kujawsko-Pomorskie. Weather conditions in June have been generally favourable for root vegetable production, supporting regular yields and harvest operations. There are no reports of major disruptions due to excessive rainfall or drought in the main carrot-producing areas.

Trade flows remain focused on the domestic market, with Polish carrots widely available at wholesale markets and local distribution points. Exports and imports of fresh carrots are limited at this time, as domestic production meets the needs of retailers and food processors. Buyer demand is moderate, with no signs of sudden increases or shortages.

Farm-gate prices for carrots in central Poland are estimated at around €0.3–0.4/kg (1.2–1.7 PLN/kg), reflecting typical seasonal levels. Producers report regular interest from wholesale buyers, but no significant upward pressure on prices due to oversupply or strong competition from imports.
