According to preliminary estimates from the Central Statistical Office (GUS), Poland's 2026 root celery (celery root) harvest is expected to reach 100,000 tonnes. This forecast reflects the overall decline in field vegetable production, down by 4.5% year-on-year due to adverse weather conditions earlier in the season.

At the Bronisze wholesale market near Warsaw on 5 August 2026, standard celery roots were trading at €0.7–0.8/kg (3–3.5 PLN/kg). Young celery was offered at €0.7–0.9 per piece (3–4 PLN/sztuka), while imported celery stalks reached €0.8–1.0 per piece (3.5–4.5 PLN/sztuka). These prices indicate stable market conditions for both domestic and imported celery products in early August.
