The Polish wholesale market is seeing increased availability of domestic field cucumbers, particularly from tunnel cultivation, with prices for the smallest calibres at Bronisze wholesale market reaching up to 5 PLN/kg in mid-June 2026.

At the Bronisze wholesale market near Warsaw, the current price for domestically grown field cucumbers (ogórki gruntowe) from tunnel production is up to 5 PLN per kilogram for the smallest calibres, as of mid-June 2026.

The supply of Polish cucumbers has risen steadily with the advancement of the harvest season. Increased volumes from domestic sources, especially from tunnel and early field crops, are now available on the wholesale market, contributing to stable or slightly declining price trends.

The higher availability of cucumbers coincides with a broader influx of other domestic vegetables, such as tomatoes and beans, as reported in the same market period. This increase in supply is typical for the time of year and is reflected in the trade situation, with cucumbers maintaining competitive pricing amid high volumes.

Current buyer demand for cucumbers at wholesale markets remains steady, supported by the seasonal preference for fresh vegetables. No significant export or import pressure on cucumber prices has been reported for this period, with the market dominated by domestic production.

Weather conditions in June 2026 have generally supported the harvest and growth of cucumbers, particularly for tunnel and early field crops, with no major disruptions due to drought or excessive rainfall reported in the sources.
